Acceleration Between Phases

Good morning, Church.

My name is Harris, and I joined JCC in January 2026. Today is my seventh Sunday here, and I have a testimony.

I am a market analyst, and in July 2024 I joined a private capital firm with the hope of getting funded. Before I could earn, I had to go through a very strict performance evaluation—hit their profit target, protect their capital, and follow all their rules. For 18 months and 30 days, that was all I did, alongside online jobs to survive, eat, and pay my bills.

By the time I joined JCC, I was almost giving up on my dream. But on my very first Sunday, Pastor Morris preached about fulfillment—about it being time to be fruitful and how we had already been watered. When he said that blessings come in phases and that we can pray for acceleration between those phases, and he quoted Deuteronomy 1:6, I knew that word was for me.

I had been close so many times. I would almost reach the target, then lose momentum, go into drawdown, or finish the month at breakeven.

One Sunday after service, as my cousin and I walked home, we told each other, “The next time we come back, we will come back with our own testimonies.” Around that same time, I heard a lady testify that she wrote down her testimony before it came to pass. So I decided to do the same and write my own testimony.

Last Sunday, I wrote it down. I thanked God in advance that I had already passed the evaluation, received my contract, and started earning.

That same week, my sister called to check on me, and I told her, “The next time we meet, I will have good news.” From that moment, I started the week knowing that one way or another, my contract was coming.

And Church, I’m happy to announce that after 18 months of nonstop grinding, sleepless nights, journaling every step, and standing in faith—on Thursday I passed the evaluation, on Friday evening I received my contract, and from Monday, I will begin earning… or as the Word says, bearing fruit.
